This Verse which people refer to when they say "lower your gaze" is misused and battered beyond belief. To understand the Verse, one needs to understand all other Verses of the Qur'an. Due to widespread lack of understanding of the Qur'an, even learned people misuse the Verse.

I am writing an article on how true beleiving men and women interact according to the Qur'an. And inshallah that should help people understand how they should really interact with brothers and sister. I will publish it once I am done inshallah.
