musta been good enchiladas. personally when it comes to mexican food, i just throw stuff into a tortilla. but mole, gotta keep reminding myself, i must do that. oh yeah and ceviche.
i made a tray of oven fried chicken (i've decided making fried chicken is only feasible with a decent stovetop (mine heats oil reallly weird; i can never fry well because the temperature just doesnt stay consistent, even when i monitor with a thermometer) and oil that you will have an opportunity to re-use..which i never do) and two batches of corn bread the other day (and caesar salad, but that doesnt really count) for one of our iftars here at school. which was a change of pace at least, considering we always eat either arab or desi food. it's funny though, because no one really knew what they were eating (what? american food? what's this?!). there were *several* people who didnt even know what cornbread was <--

and im talking about those kids born and raised here.
