And sometimes being rude is an automatic defense mechanism if you're nervous/shy/worried or simply not used to talking to the opposite gender. Believe me.

Secondly, usually Women usually are rude to put people off. Especially Muslim Sisters.

I think It is the same for Muslim Brothers who sometimes come of as rude or angry towards Muslim Sisters. It's not like they hate us, but being rude is a sort of facade. [? - I could be wrong here.]

I'm talking about real life though. Oh but alhamdulilah, Hijaab most of the time here usually does serve its purpose. Its not like guys dont speak to you, but they are more respectful and most have enough sense not to hit on you. If they do, they do it pretty indirectly.
