I have noticed in several occasions where a sister comes accross very rude because I am a brother. I dont think she intends to, but she comes across very rude and you just know it is because you are a 'Muslim brother' and she does not like you 'so close to her (or the sisters)' (by her definition of what is close, which is just your presence).

I would immagine the same may have been expereinced by some open minded sisters from some brothers.

All I can say is that this attitude is a far cry from the believer model described in the Qur'an.
