I don't understand why the laws are so lenient on child molesters/rapists. Though I read that Florida just increased the term to 15 years for them, but I wonder whether that'll be enforced, and I don't think it's long enough.
Maybe I've been watching too much To Catch a Predator, but personally if I had a kid, whether a boy or girl, I wouldn't trust any male teachers in schools either, nor male islamic school teachers/maulanas, I've heard too many disturbing stories.
