I don't understand what enlightenment you are talking about. If you want to hear more objective news about the ban from Turkey, check web sites like TODAY'S ZAMAN.

93 % of the Turks are at peace with the headscarf and think it must be allowed to be worn in universities and the public space, but the European Court of Human Rights legitimizes the anti-Islamic, secularist ban on the headscarf. Another evidence of the silent collaboration of western elites with the Turkish secularists, anti-Islamics. Therefore, please don't blame only the Turkish secularists regarding the hijab ban. Blame their western collaborators too.
