My poor, aching head. I've been feeling "off" for a couple days, and it finally came to a head in the form of a killer migraine. On my first day with my new team... in the OR, during a complex case.
I had to scrub out a couple of hours in to take some meds, then came back and had to scrub out again to
. Twice. And I felt nauseous for hours afterwards.
And both times that I had to scrub out, it was while they were trying to control unexpected bleeding.
Sigh. They tried to send me home, but I stuck it out to do the last case. Didn't end up leaving till 7pm.
