Everyone knows my stance on Ataturk(I hated what he did to Turkey) but to call him a Kaafir is beyond you or I. Your disrepect toward a dead person is sickening.
i'm going to have to side with Abu Hind on this one. true, it's not in any of our places to call him a kafir, but it's hard to comprehend why he would even be considered as muslim. what he did to turkey is what's sickening - something we are still paying for to this day. the fact that he was a mason as he banned the hijab in turkey, he is the reason turkey is a secular state, the way he claimed they were a European nation instead of an Asian one and enforced the hat law in 1925 and the law relating to prohibited garments in 1934.. the list goes on.

When Sulayman ibn AbdulMalik visited Makkah, he asked if there was anyone present who has met the companions of RasulAllah (saw).
“Abu Hazim,” they replied.
“Why is it that we dislike death? Why is it we don't want to die?” Sulayman asked.
Abu Hazim replied, “Because you have built and established this world and you have destroyed your Aakhirah, so you hate to go from what you have established to what you have destroyed.”
