(for me) A feeling of contentment, peace...as though no one else will suffice. Do you see goodness and sincerity in him? Do others? Would he be a good husband and father? Does he have a strong conscience(that he follows!)? Is he honest? Does he really listen, take things on board and continue doing x even when the hype is over?
It really depends what you want in a husband, make a list and see how many ticks he gets.Take some time out, maybe ask him a few more questions and then perform istikhara for a week. If you're not sure and are crying over it then maybe you just want to say yes because of the pressure and everything else thinks he's great?
