I think the ikhtilaf revolves around what the Prophet (saw) meant by "remove" - whether he meant remove as in "get rid of that walrus tash", or remove as in "shave it off completely, lads".

Ah okay..so it revolves around what the prophet(saws) meant by remove? Hmm that makes more sense to me now.
So what about the neck area? I want to get as close to the sunnah as possible.
