Okay, for those of you who are trying to illustrate this as a symptom of "Bush's fascist regime' - I think you're just plane wrong.

For one, the guy allegedly got tazed for being out of control at a Kerry event. And I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the federal government's evil arm isn't long enough yet to start using campus security as their party thugs.

Are the police in the States trigger/tazer happy? - yeh Was that a suppression of free speech - maybe, but not because the United States has devolved into a fascist mess. At least not yet... and certainly nothing from this incident has shown us anything in that direction. Give me a break.

As for this incident, we'll have to wait to hear what the people involved have to say before we have a clear picture on what happened.
