i don't understand why we're spending so much time focusing on the color of one's hijab as opposed to the mannerisms that are supposed to go hand in hand with wearing hijab generally. one can wear a "modest" hijab as you define it, completely black and lacking "flashiness," but at the same time flirt with every other guy one comes across.

clearly our priorities are out of wack.

i'd like to add, why are so many of you guys so concerned with women's issues anyway? We know hijab is fard and if we dont we have other women and Islamic sources to tell us and Allah to guide us. Please stop spending so much time preaching to us and go work on yourself.
