Yes. I would have replied but too much to say. In short, I'm proud of them too.
A started lecturing me about how being good is not about always doing good, but rather about staying away from bad. The good can easily fall in the sight of God and sinners can easily rise up. There was a Lord of the Rings analogy in there somewhere too.
It was pretty funny, but at the end I was just like "Awwww." Very nice of them. At the time, I just kind of rolled my eyes and ignored it, but I thought about it later and decided they were right.
