Default Re: Question for the Girls - Sex and the City fans

I've never watched it, high heels and lipstick just isn't my thing.

I can appreciate that it can address a lot of issues that people experience in real life but i don't think that's particularly useful. TV shows make people think that there's a particular/desirable way to react to a situation and most often inhibits one's individuality of making sense of it in their own life. It also gives people a very self-centred focus where they focus on everything that surrounds them and has implications on them and I feel that's also detrimental to one's pursuit of knowledge and awareness of more global issues.
