Genghis Khan didn't create an empire he just looted and destroyed big parts of Middle East. Rambo mentioned it too in the previous message. Plus in the time of Alexander Macedonians had civilization and in the time of Genghis Khan Huns, Mongols(or whatever Central Asian tribe they were) lacked one. So the area pased by Ghengis Khan might be bigger(like a balloon) but didn't last like any other known empire.
