The Trinity has its own internal logic since it posits in an omnitpotent, personal God. The notion that God cannot comingle with His creation or to divide into parts is construed as a limit on his omnipotency.

This is why the question "Can God create a rock that He couldn't lift" is problematic for Christianity, but not Islam since we don't view omnipotency in this manner and we reject the question as being semantically flawed.
