that statement you posted is referring to med schools in the Caribbean like Ross and St George. There are a few others in different parts of the caribbean, UK, etc. It isnt talking about private universities here in the USA. I dont think there are any for-profit American medical schools

btw, that statement is unbelievably stupid and elitist. A few days ago i was talking to a graduating cardiothoracic surgery fellow who is on his way to an extremely prestigious American university hospital for an advanced CT fellowship. It turns out the guy is a St George grad.

If you want to be a doctor and you cant get into any medical schools except those in the caribbean, then go to the caribbean. It will be harder, but who cares. Becoming a doctor isnt easy for anyone
