I like the environment of Multaqa a lot. There are two scholars, Ustadh Ayman and Ustadh Haitham, who post there, and we benefit from them a lot. Bassam Zawadi posts there as well, and I enjoy his posts a lot, just because he reminds me of myself. and he always asks those questions I wish to ask.... And you also have a lot of people from iA posting there as well, such good posters as Sister Um Abdullah (my favorite poster on every single forum on the internet) and Brother Bilal as-Salafi (who gives us input from Ahle Hadees movement). There is also brother Navid and that guy from Misr, forgot his name...but yeah ,so there are a lot of knowledgeable brothers on the forum that we take benefit from.
I like the environment better than iA. There are WAY too many terrorist lovers on iA, like AbuMuwahid, MustafaAlMuhajir, and their ilk. Little jihadist kids who just post about jihad, saudi kings/scholars, etc. There is a much tighter control on such activity at Multaqa, so although I'm sure that a lot of such posters exist, they are not allowed to post their views.
However, Multaqa (in English) is a very slow forum. Sometimes a whole day will go by and there will not be a single post! So this is a major drawback.
iA is much more active in that sense. However, it doesn't really amount to much, since it's just the jihadist kids who post so much on iA; the quality posters like Abu az-Zubayr post much less.
One positive quality of iA is that there is no censorship, so there is freedom of thought there. More so than any other Islamic forum I've seen. The downside of this of course is that the jihadists proliferate there.
The quantity of posts on iA is greater, but the QUALITY of Multaqa is far superior.
And people on iA are very harsh, whereas people on Multaqa are soft.
However, the best forum is still Islamica.

That is because I can post stupid stuff; I've tried on Multaqa to tell jokes, but people just ignore them or take them seriously.

Recently, I posted that I won a million dollars in Nairobi and nobody even replied to it at all.
Don't get me wrong about iA: some great posters there, but unfortunately the vermin there proliferate. Right now, there are threads attacking Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan, Imam Sudais, etc...all created by these scholar-hating vermin.
