The way American culture approaches blacks is very deeply infused with racism
Blacks in the mainstream culture are usually no different. And black culture itself suffers from a huge inferiority complex.
Just one tiny example is that whenever the issue of a black men having sex with men is raised, AIDS becomes a major part of the discussion. However, when Ted Haggard was discovered to have used crystal meth and had sex with gay prostitutes, HIV never even entered the discussion. The same goes for Jim McGreevey, Larry Craig who was involved in some of the riskiest sexual behavior of all- anonymous gay sex with random strangers. AIDS has never been mentioned in any of those cases
Blacks are just perceived as being dirtier, taking more risks, and so on.
