It's not odd at all when you're a believer.

As a Muslim, we always preface whatever we intend to do with "inshaAllah" [God-willing].

Too many non-believers however have this almost arrogant air where they say "Oh I'll be here buddy!" or "I'll be a CEO by the time I'm 30" and so on. As if everything is purely dependent on their whims, their desires.

But as a practicing Muslim -- and for some Christians I've noticed too -- we *choose* our words *very* carefully because as we know, our fate lies in the hands of our Lord.

And that's how God enters the picture. For that matter, he's always, in the picture.
