I don't need to prove anything because you are fully capable of looking it up. Just so you know, each VA is affiliated with a medical school and its academic medical center and just about every medical school is affiliated with a VA. This happened after WWII to care for returning vets and the relationship stands today. Thus, the odds are that you will be caring for some VA patients. There are a few residency programs that aren't affiliated with medical schools, but as you know, the vast majority are. If you are as against the US military as you claim, are you planning on only applying to non-VA affiliated programs and then not pursuing medicine if you don't get into one?
