Yeah you can.

Of course I'm not 100% sure about the ladies, but in the mens' section its not uncommon to see men holding their babies or infants or toddlers in prayer just to keep them happy and quiet. If they go into ruku' they hold the baby with one arm and hand, and the other hand is on their own knee ... and in sujoud its similar ... keep the baby pressed close to their chest with one hand and the other on the floor. And then when they're in julous, they either keep holding the baby or set it down on the floor right between their legs until the end of prayer.

I've held babies in prayer myself too and at other times gently moved them out of the way so I could make sujoud.
