i agree that reducing women to sex objects in advertising is not just done in the west. its done all over the world including the majority of muslim countries. no one can argue that.
but the truth is they ARE being used as sex objects, and even the advertising buisness or the "west" have admitted to doing so. thats why we always hear the phrase "sex sells"

i think the women in bruinrab's list are dressed very modestly. but i think what everyone is forgetting is that the article posted in the OP is about professional parties or dinners and evening outings.
of course women are going to dress professionally at the work place, or at least they should. and thats where the pictures of those 50 ladies were taken. but im going to bet that they were not dressed like and revealed alot more skin when invited to dinners and work outings.
