Are you telling me that a poor ghetto kid cannot get a passport nor can he save up a measly $1000 for a plane ticket? You can earn that much working for McDonalds.

Take that money, flee the country, and come penniless to some Muslim country. Allah [swt] will provide, and many have suffered before you.

You can teach English and make a decent living in a Muslim country, just based on your accent.

Tell me: why is it that a young kid suddenly becomes a man firing a gun and facing enemies on the battlefield, but this same so-called 'young kid' cannot provide for himself in a peaceful country!? How in the world fighting easier than teaching English in a foreign country!?
Your post betrays a serious lack of knowledge about how the world turns for poor people. If you're a poor high school drop-out kid, or only have a HS diploma and have to support yourself on a low wage job, it's difficult to scrape together the money to get a passport, let alone save the nearly $2000 it costs just for the plane ticket to a Muslim country. Also, you need some kind of education to teach English in a foreign country. They don't just take anyone. My sis worked in Taiwan teaching English, but they only let her because she had a good education. If you don't have that education, those jobs aren't open to you.

A draft is exceptionally unlikely to happen except in the event of a full out World War. In that case, the cause may be just, and is likely not to be against a Muslim country. In such a case, how can you say with 100% sureity that it would be haram to serve in the armed forces? What if the war was against, say, China, which country ALSO oppresses Muslims? Wouldn't it be a good thing to submit to service in such an instance?

If you want to think that every opressed person who has tried, but was unable to change their situation is doomed to hell, be my guest. You're damning a lot of people in that case, many of them your brothers and sisters in Muslim lands who are oppressed by their rulers, or by eachother. What answer are we to give then to the oppressed in Iraq? Should we just tell them all to leave their country? Many of them are trying mostly by illegal means to leave, but most are unable. Do you think that Allah (swt) is not aware of their trials and will punish them more than he's already punishing them becuase their poverty and destitution makes them unable to relocate? How about those who have relocate, only to fall into prostitution and drug traficking? What about all the Afghans who have started growing poppy, which is surely haram, to feed themselves? Where are we to tell them to go to start their lives anew? Are they damned to hell for certainty?

What happened to you stance of giving your Muslim brothers excuses for what wrongs they may commit, or their hard situations? Does that idea not extend to your Muslim brothers in the west?
