I'm fully aware that people have called his religion and even allegience into question over his 'Muslim sounding name' etc. It doesn't mean that "nobody would vote for him if..."

I see your point, i didn't expand on it and you took it as it is on the page.

The Majority won't vote for him because hes Black, tack on the muslim thing, he needs some thing to help his chances with the post 9/11 America.

Its not only the Hicks that are ignorant, there are planty fo well educated well to do Americans who are ignorant too. I work with planty orf them.

I don't even think you can make that statement solidly. You'll never be able to draw a clear line between those who won't vote for him because he's black, or 'muslim' and those who are voting on other issues. It's a statistic that's impossible to know.

And if I had only known Americans through internet contacts or phone calls, I wouldn't have made a statement that I had 'lots of contact with Americans and the States.'
