Salika: they're conservative but not enough to be segregated. I think in their case conservative just means that the ladies don't dance, only the men do..and theyyyy shake it! ...at least that's how my husband described the groom's brother's wedding from a few years back. When I go to ladies-only parties I don't like to dress too modestly either, it defeats the purpose of a ladies party. Some of the outfits at Arab ladies-only parties though cross the line to being trashy (underwear lines, skin-tight/colored pants and thrusting, er, "dancing" all over the place ). lol, even my fairly liberal Arab friends were hiding their faces in shame
