I've never been to one. What do people usually wear? I despise shalwar qameez (indo-pak clothes) so I am going to take this opportunity where I dont "have to" wear it. What is appropriate (hijabi) attire for an Arab wedding?

EDIT: I have this awesome semi-fancy pink abaya with light purple beading and sequins on the bottom and sleeves that I wore on Eid...it's an A-line flowy one, like a dress almost. I would wear it with a matching pink beaded hijab and heels. Is that appropriate?
