[this rant somehow helps me]
So I went desi clothes shopping at this place and I found 2 awesome outfits at reasonable prices, BUT the lady who came with me snatched those away and kept it to the side all to herself!!
I knew immediately that I wasn't going to get them no matter how much I pleaded with her, even if those were the only ones I was going to buy. And now I can't have them
I couldn't say anything to her because she was my mum's friend and it would've been disrespectful and mean, but when I'm mad, I say and do things without much control. I don't know how I handled myself, but Alhamdullilah I stopped before doing anything regretful. I'm slowly relearning the art of patience like before and to letting things go that might not be in my destiny (that which Allah (swt) wills for me to have and that which he won't).
But still in the back of my mind and heart I held some anger, jealousy, dislike, and contempt for her. But Alhamdullilah, I kept reminding myself that maybe it wasn't meant for me. Maybe there's something much better out there for me and Inshallah I will get it someday. I'm making that my philosophy of life for everything. Letting things go and not getting angry and holding anything against anyone, Inshallah!
