masoor pulao is great. my mom's family makes that often, and they're bombay folks.
anyway, i love masoor pulao with boiled, lightly fried on the outside eggs. yum.

and dramarani, a pressure cooker isn't required. you can just boil the sabid masoor daal the regular way, it might take a bit longer though.
