I won't argue that a lot of the military is the type of individual that couldn't get anywhere else. But to say that they ALL are is just foolishness. Maybe at the bottom level you'll see that more prominent, but especially as ranks rise you'll see the intelligence rise along with it, just like anywhere else.

That's all well and good that you think that, but you picked out only one thing out of what I said. Joining said organization when you have no money for school but wish to pursue a degree, that's the primary motivator I was talking about. Earning a salary while getting your degree for free and not having to pay for your board or amenities really isn't that stupid.
I could go on, but to be honest the discussion has kind of run it's course.
