And I agree with whoever made the comment about Pakistanis being dressed in western clothing- thats quite common as well. You see men in the mosques praying in jeans and a t-shirt. Just because this guy ran into some kabootar, doesn't mean that the majority of the population holds the same view. But thats what this article makes it seem like.

I dislike the slant of this article. Its painting the same picture again- of this intolerant country with a bunch of fundos running around. Sorry, I don't see it. I see a country made up of mostly laid back, friendly people, who are more concerned with living their own lives then promoting "extremism".
I wans't commenting on the general people, i was commenting the masjid itself, sorry if I gave the impression I was making the statement against Pakistanis in general.

The Masjid I used to go to in FL had a bunch of Anti Israel propaganda stuff on the welcome table once, my friend Sayyid and I spoke to the Shaykh and he agreed it was in bad taste and had it removed. Even in the West there are backward Muslims.

Gulens schools are evrywhere (even in Japan i beleive), I doubt the intentions of the Schools are to "educate the backward Muslims", but too offer facilities that may not be in that area.

There are many good Madrassahs and Schools in Pakland m'A, Gulens school may be in an area wher ethere is nothing at all.
