What does that have to do with anything? We're not speaking about a people or a culture as a whole. The US Army is a military organization, with a specific set of goals, and the achievement of its goals usually involves death or destruction. That's how militaries work. People who join the military are generally aware of this.

So creating an analogy between the entire Muslim world & the US Army makes 0 sense. A better analogy would be comparing al-Qaeda and the US Army. Some Muslims support al-Qaeda and believe they are doing everything they can to protect and serve Muslims.. just like some Americans support the US Army and believe they're doing everything they can to protect and serve Americans.
