ok, fine - contractions are painful. very very very painful. and if they're too painful for you to bear, then you have the option of getting an epidural.
but the rest of it goes by in a blur. labor, pushing, delivery - it's over so fast.
the real hard part is taking baby home with you and taking care of it.

That's what I think too, when friends speak of the pain...the baby will be there FOR THE REST OF YOUR MORTAL LIFE. I'm pretty sure that's harder than childbirth, I know I get stressed enough with my brothers and sisters, can't imagine what mothers go through masha Allah. You all deserve Jannah...and maybe progesterone, too
