i think one of the reasons it might be really frowned upon in islam to let yourself get angry/out of control is because when you're so emotional, you can end up admitting the truth about how you feel about something or someone sometimes..and there are some things that just dont need to be publicized..like, we're all humans, we cant hold the whole world in a perpetually goo goo gaga everythings beautiful you rock type perspective and there are things we dislike but dont absolutely need to voice and that comes out when you're mad. along with a lot of other stuff also of course, that needs to be conveyed but in a less violent manner which is why it's always better to speak to someone after you're over the extreme resentment phase.

alhamdulillah for being blessed with a soft heart and not being as hotheaded and weak and out of control as some others.
