Dear sister, this logic would have disastrous consequences and lead people to think something like this:
Fulan prays five times a day but also commits fornication. This, according to you, would be hypocrisy. And therefore Fulan thinks to himself "Hey it would be better if I stop praying five times since it's even worse to be a hypocrite."
And so Fulan goes from committing one sin, to committing two sins.
