Yeah, and you gotta develop a strategy for brushing your teeth. You REALLY need to brush your teeth now, but it makes me throw up half the time. The only thing I found helped with that is brushing my teeth on an empty stomach. That way even if I throw up, I don't have to eat all over again (thus necessitating ANOTHER round of teeth brushing)

chootoomotoo - how are you feeling? how's the pregnancy going?

yea, just to add my two cents in.. I lived off ginger ale and 7up. those two things helped settle my stomach when I was too nauseous to eat anything.

also, no one told me about this, but what i noticed with myself is that if I allowed myself to get hungry/have an empty stomach, the sickness was SO much worse. even though you might not feel like eating anything, nibble on something (I loved wheat thins) so that you don't allow yourself to get hungry.

eat whatever you feel ok about eating, even if it's not the healthiest (advice from my doc and other veteran moms).

and yea, brushing my teeth was bad for me too, I never found something that helped with that, heh.

but yea, beyond the ginger ale and 7up, nothing really helped for me either. just remember that even though it doesn't feel like it, the morning sickness eventually WILL go away. inshAllah.
