Are you serious? Do you realize this "Shaykh" Usama has no credentials to even call himself an ALIM??? What kind of religious training has this joker had? Do you realize this? When he came out with his 1996 "fatwa" all the real scholars were scratching their heads thinking "okay who gave this guy authority to issue fatwas?"

Stop overanalyzing the conspiracy theories. The Muslim world and the Muslim mind seem to be OBSESSED with conspiracy theories. Just get the hell over it. If I am not mistaken, I was told by my professor that the "Israel did it" or "American did it" conspiracy theory actually surfaced as a joke in Egypt or something and soon caught on as a valid theory. I will inshallah ask him to be sure and get back to this thread.
