My mom actually expects me to stand next to her and learn how to cook palak gaushed now
I'm supposed to find rishtas. I'm at that age I think, where other girls go, hey, why isnt she married yet?
Am I supposed to start worrying about wrinkles now? Should I take some pre-emptive action?
Lordy, I remember thinking that you had to get married LATEST by 23, because 24 was the danger zone, cuz after 24, its over.

what's palak gaushed. or do you mean palak goshttttt. ahaahah! being old has nothing to do with learning how to cook..dont worry...i learned to cook at like 16..which was like, late compared to other girls i knew..therefore you should cook and feel young
anyways i can relate to you in some ways...but you know, at the end of the day, if im feeling terrible, i think about how im really not going to get this time back ever...and it's precious..i know it's sooo cheesy..but you cant really consciously think about feeling old so much...cuz life and time flies. you cant do much abt it.
the only time it's beneficial in my opinion is if youre trying to better yourself as a person/muslim. cuz old = death is close. puts things in perspective...
