Any updates? I am surprised this thread didn't mention it... or perhaps I haven't been paying attention.

Yeah, a lot of us were there, including other Islamicans as well. I was inside the courtroom at the very beginning and left around noontime to get back to work.
As usual, it was often hilarious - the prosecution couldn't get their act together and the judge [in my opinion] came down hard on the prosecutors several times. We had a good laugh. family and friends sitting on the benches in the back were looking at each other and mouthing the word "ooo burrnnn!!!" several times. As for the defense, Saad's lawyer is a former prosecutor himself I believe, so he knows the game from both sides of the fence.
Immediately outside the courtroom there were a lot of people waiting, and they had about another 100 people watching via video-link in another adjacent court building.
Outside the rally was, I think, closer to about 200 people than 80. Pics of the rally are up on Facebook, check 'em out.
The rest of the proceedings are continuing on for the remainder of this week.
