Default Duas for people you appreciate

I remembered someone today who deserves my duas because something that they did has brought continuing benefits to me. Tell us whose good deeds deserve your duas.

Meraj (the mod)
Way back when I first joined Islamica (2001!), Meraj's signature contained verses 60 and 61 from Sura Rahman: "Is there any reward for Good - other than Good? Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?". Since my Islamic education was totally lame, I'd never read any of Sura Rahman in translation before.

I was inspired to find the complete Sura, and I thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever read. When I heard Sheikh Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi's recitation, I was moved beyond words.

Ever since then, reading and listening to Sura Rahman have continued to bring me immense comfort and hope. Meraj, JazakAllah for introducing me to something that helped me survive some of the worst times in my life.

Haramoobobi
JazakAllah. You know why.
