i'm switching over to public transportation... its cheaper for me to take the trolley to campus... no gas wasted and don't have to pay for any parking in downtown AND i'm forced to walk a couple miles a day and get some exercise...
$50 gets me a monthly pass for the trolley... usually its more than $50 for one tank of gas, which lasts me maybe a week and a half, and then parking costs on top of it all ($10-15/day, 5 days a week)...
