cuz carbs are the primary fuel for weight lifting..most athletes who have perfected this kind of diet dont do it for days upon days straight..they do carbohydrate cycling..so, theyll load up on carbs all weekend, and then go low carb for the weekdays so they can use the fuel from the weekend..even then their bodies are much more different than ours cuz of everything they put it through so i'd personally be kinda hesitant to do it
