as a general rule the lesser weight you have to lose or the closer you are to your goal weight, the longer it takes to get rid of the extra. it's kind of like, you're already semi fit, it doesnt take a lot for you to start gasping for breath. so you have to push yourself really hard outside of your comfort zone to get the results youre looking for

but it's not like impossible by ANY means..a little pushing out of your zone will get you far.
ahhh that stinks. I am looking for toning too but weight loss is the main thing so yea I guess I need to up the amount. I did about 15 minutes on the elliptical and 10 on the treadmill plus weights and lunges today. Plus I walked to class and tried to speed walk (as much as that's possible with a 20 lb backpack ). I guess tomorrow morning after yoga I wont be bumming around in the hallway for 40 minutes before class like I usually do, I'll be working out. I hate working out, ugh. But I MUST LOSE WEIGHT!
