'watch movies from the 50s and listen to songs from the 30s' .. for the record, movies from the 50s have songs that are also from the 50s.
most of the movies/songs i like are from the 1950s-1980, which has less to do with a passion for poor quality cinematography and audio than it does to do with the plot, dialogue, acting, lyrics, scores, etc
