I agree with the USA - the Olympics is a sports venue and not a political venue. All these people trying to extinguish the torch for what? to make a point? Even if they put out the flame, which is surrounded by so much security, its not gonna make China change its mind on Tibet.

Everyone should just put aside their differences, meet up for sports and maintain healthy, non-violent competition and let the best country win. As for political issues, take those up via appropriate diplomatic channels.
