At many laundromats, there are also free community ad papers that advertise privately owned stuff for sale. They have names like "penny press" or "thrify nickel" and so forth. You can also check those. You can also check the classifieds in your local newspaper. The advantage to print is that a lot of old folks advertise there, so you can get some grandpa's car which has been maintained beautifully.
