Default Re: back when islamicans had haya

hijabihoodlum: i think it's possible to discuss the whole range of, well, just about anything, with haya.

That is true but then we get into religious battles with the moral police on here about what constitutes having haya and being beshram or whatever hell way it's spelt.

It is absolutely ludicrous that a sister can't say parts of the human anatomy, [i.e. penis, vagina, breasts, etc.] in a non-suggestive way without being flogged by other members who deem such words as inappropriate, hayaless, and beshram. As if somehow these words, along with sex and others, should now be *'ed out and or we should only refer to them as "the baby making machines" or some other childish nickname.

Some people on the board need to get over their Quaker mentality and stop having religious heart-attacks anytime certain words or topics are brought up.

If you don't like it, don't participate in the conversation and if you feel that the conversation is too hayaless, feel free to notify the mods who will then hold a powwow and make their decision. Sitting in the thread complaining about how the thread should be deleted doesn't do anything other than bump the thread for even more members to view it and more than likely partake in it.
