Oh, I thought this thread was about a book club for islamica.
14 year old makes me think of the book "If I Should Speak" by Umm Zakiyyah. It's an easy read and fairly entertaining. However, I doubt the older club members would find it as interesting since it's a pretty generic Muslim fiction
