It crossed my mind too, but I doubt they would do it. Firstly, it would loose the concept it was built on, 'Pay-what-you-like' and secondly, right now you have all sorts of people who go to eat there, but if they turned them into soup kitchens, then only a certain sort [mainly poor] people would go there, and they would be soup kitchens, like any other soup kitchen.
