salam...wow i hope your dad was joking...thats not a nice thing to say.
the pharmacist in me just had to comment about alli real quick though. it is the only diet pill that i would recommend otc...but i wouldnt recommend it to everyone. it is a lower strength of a prescription medication called xenical. at prescription strength, its shown to be effective in blocking about a third of the fat that you eat from being absorbed in your body. however...that doesnt come along without some side effects. nothing really serious healthwise because the medication works in your intestines without really being absorbed into the body..but rather some unpleasant side effects. basically...if you dont commit to substantially restricting your fat intake, youre gonna have some gross side effects like diarrhea, oily stools, flatulence, sudden urge to defecate, etc.
so what im trying to say...alli can be a good medication for some ppl, but use with caution if you feel like you arent going to be able to control the fat intake. its not something you are gonna want to just take without making other changes as well. i just wanted you to think about these things before you waste a good amount of money on it...its pretty expensive where i work...about 80 bucks for a month supply i believe. good luck, inshallah all goes well for you
